Follow these instructions for your free website:
You are eligible to receive this site once you sell your first Assurity policy. As long as you actively sell an Assurity policy each calendar quarter (minimum of 4 policies/year), we will continue to host, maintain, and update your site. The website is not available to purchase, and we do not make exceptions for people who haven't sold their first policy. This site is not offered directly from Assurity, and they do not pay Simplified Insurance Group, LLC to offer this site. We only offer it to special partnering agencies to help their overall sales.
1. Sell your first Assurity policy and officially become an active Assurity agent.
2. Own a web address.
- If you don't own a domain address (example "www.your-name-insurance.com"), you can purchase a domain from www.godaddy.com or any other web registration company. It's very easy to do and it is usually only around $10 per year to own. Even if there are other places that are cheaper, we suggest GoDaddy because we can insure you will have a smooth transition to our servers. Please do not pay for hosting fees, because we host your site for free. If you need an email address of "your-name@your-new-address.com" we suggest you purchase that package through your domain registrar (GoDaddy is usually about $2-$4/month).
3. Transfer your domain
DOWNLOAD THE LINK BELOW TO ENLARGE THE IMAGE, AND THEN FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS TO TRANSFER YOUR DOMAIN ADDRESS TO US:

- The image above gives you instructions from GoDaddy on how to transfer your domain to us. Follow those instructions listed above and then email us at website@simplifiedinsurancegroup.com to let us know the web address (example: bobjonesinsurance.com) you transferred to us. We will then set up your site within a day or two and email or call you when it's set up. You can also let us know your site information through the Upload/Contact Us page.
4. Customize your site
- Once your site is transferred to us, we will set it up within 1 to 2 days. After we notify you that it is ready, please watch the Basic Video Instructions page. You will learn from the video how customize your site.
- To access your backend website portal to edit your new website, please open a new web browser and type in your web address followed by /admin.php . So if your site was named johnsmith-insurance.com, access your site backend through typing in www.jonhsmith-insurance.com/admin.php Your login to your site has a username of admin and an initial password of abc123 . You can change your password once you log in.
- You have the ability to change the "About Us" pod image to your own image. Many people take a professional headshot picture of themselves and upload the digital image. You could also take an amateur digital picture, but please make sure it gives a good impression to potential clients. You may also want to consider a pure white background to blend in with the rest of the site. Some people who have an office may also want to use the pod image to show off their building or a group picture of your entire staff.
- You customize the logo found in the upper left corner of each page. If you don't have a logo, we can just create a very basic one for you until you set up something else. Please let us know if you need a logo or help through the Upload/Contact Us page.
- Even though you have the ability to upload your own images, almost all agents just email the images to us and we resize the images and upload them for you.
